Save the date: DIYC CHICKEN BBQ, Saturday, July 31, 2021, 6 p.m.

Join us on July 31 for DIYC’s famous Lewis & Field Chicken BBQ. This is our longest standing event and a summer tradition for our club. All are welcome!

Pitmasters John and Michael Foley will make the secret sauce and roast half-chickens to perfection over an open pit fire just for you! This event is made possible by the DIYC member volunteers. Come out to celebrate summer, support your club, get a great meal, connect with old friends and meet new ones.

The BBQ includes half a chicken and an array of delicious sides and simple desserts. We will have vegetarian sides for those who want to attend the event but prefer not to eat chicken. Drinks are available, but you are welcome to bring a beverage of choice

The BBQ takes place in the DIYC tent at Point Bay Marina at 6 p.m.

The cost for members is only $16. Non-member guests are $19, and children (ages 5-12) are $10.

The BBQ is a highly anticipated event you won’t want to miss. Come early and stay late to socialize with fellow boaters and experience the camaraderie DIYC is known for.
